December 2022 - IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASE

Welcome to Newsletter No. 2 of ANNA'S COMPOSER DATABASE!
I am so happy that you are here.

I am a conductor, music educator, and former professional violin/violist. My passion is to explore and perform fabulous music by historically underrepresented composers. It is a joy to find great music that audiences enjoy and musicians love to perform. The goal of this database is to be a comprehensive resource for high school, university, community and professional orchestras and to find excellent diverse compositions to perform. There is so much great music, let me help find what is right for you!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASE newsletter includes who I am listening to this month:

  • COMPOSER OF THE MONTH

  • OVERTURE (One of my favorite concert starters for the month)

  • HISTORICAL SCORE or COMPOSITION OF THE MONTH (A favorite historical composer)
